From August 13 to 18, 1,200 Jewish teens from North America, South America, Israel and Europe will come together for a week of competition, community service and social activities in
Stamford, Connecticut, and neighboring communities. The JCC Maccabi Games offer a transforming and powerful experience to Jewish teens by
integrating sports with Jewish identity and values.
The Stamford delegation alone has more than 200 athletes including teens from
lower Fairfield County and nearby northern Westchester County, New York. A delegation
from Afula-Gilboa, Stamfordís sister region in Israel, will also compete.
It takes hundreds of volunteers, host families, donors and sponsors to ensure the success of the Games. Want to do something great for yourself, the community, and a thousand Jewish teens from around the world? Get in the Games! The experience you help create will be cherished by the athletes and coaches, their families and friends for years to come.
